Hello to all you coal burners I’ve been reading this forum for years and now I have a question. My AA130 has a bent output shaft where the sprocket fits on wobbling badly. Was wondering if anyone could help me find a gearbox it’s a Ohio gear gearbox 50 to 1 ratio, standard equipment on my 1982 AA130.

Just keep in mind, the AA 260 gearbox is 25:1 ratio, and a AA 130's is 50:1.

I’ve realizing now that these Ohio gear gearbox aren’t easy to find and quite expensive,
I got the AA running now. I believe when the drive chain broke it wrapped around the sprocket and bent the output shaft. I’m going to take the shaft out and try to have a new one machined. Thanks for the replies

Axeman has them. I bought one along with a fan a few years ago. Probably have the old one sitting around but can't remember if it was the shaft or fan hub that got bent in a move. I'll look around.

I will report back on the outcome of this project, emailed axeman Anderson they do not have the gearbox anymore said why to expensive but said they have a kit I’ll get in touch with them to see what the kit includes. For everybody’s information the set screw which holds the chain sprocket on the output shaft had loosened up and the sprocket slide toward the end of shaft so was not aligned with the feed tube sprocket caused chain failure and bent shaft so you might what to check that small set screw if you run the AA.
