To give you an idea how much air an Axeman can move, I'll tell you a story. When I first had mine all set and ready to go, I had done nothing but worry about would I have enough draft. So before loading it half up with ash and then firing it up, I decided to check the draft with an empty firetube. Hooked up the manometer, flipped the switch and off it went and did it roar. I noticed the dust around the beast on the floor got sucked up and the draft was at 6.8"! I looked at my brother and said I guess I have enough draft. :P

So I have built the 8x12 chimney. I am at 16’ and I am 2 feet short 😡. Went up to the supply place today and they only had 1 block and I needed 3 to finish it off.

All I can say is wow are those blocks heavy. I used some unistrut and a block and tackle to do all the heavy lifting. I placed rebar all the way through the chimney block since the chimney is freestanding above the roof line and did not want to have any problems down the road.
