Does anyone have any or know of a source for used parts for an EFM 520. I am in need of a hanging baffle, and an intermediate auger. New prices are pretty salty, so I am ok interested in sourcing the parts used.

Is it a DF or an older unit? IIRC the design of the baffle was changed.

Also, could you please clarify what you mean by an "intermediate" auger? There is a pot auger, and an ability to add a bin auger up to a given max length, but you might be going off the reservation if you are trying to string together 3+ augers.

It is a square door, DF520. There is 3 augers total that you can have for the max length. The pot auger, the intermediate auger (which I need) and the bin auger.

I guess you could call it an intermediate auger if you have 2 bin augers hooked together. I don't think there is anything called that in the parts list or manual though. How long is it?

It's pretty difficult to get inexpensive EFM parts these days. I would contact forum member "scrapper_jr23". If he doesn't have a usable one for a fair price, nobody does.

I'm not sure, I've checked with several dealers and all accepted the fact that there is a part called an intermediate auger. Apparently it is slightly less long than the 5' bin auger and allows you to get around 10' of total auger length. My Dad has one hooked up that way.

OK, that makes sense. It's the shorter of the two standard bin augers. Two put together would give you about ten feet.

I looked around real quick for the DF 520 manual, but I couldn't find it. Daw-Gown computers!

The intermediate auger is around 4' long and threaded on both ends. Yep, three augers all at once.
