Hello,I recently purchased a efm 520 and the base is in pretty bad shape. I was hoping someone could help me out with some info on where to buy one or am I better off price wise building one myself. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum Nolen.

I'm not sure what the price for a new 520 base is but I would bet it's expensive. If yours is still able to hold the weight of the boiler it might be a good idea to patch the sheet metal.

I know of at least one forum member that makes nice heavy duty replacement bases for EFM's. Send "scrapper_23jr" a PM, he is a verified business rep on this form, an highly skilled metal fabricator/welder and an all around good guy to deal with.
