Hello,

Welcome to the forum Chris.

Do you mean VA-400? Is it an old one, or a new one?

As Rob mentioned, AB Van Wert bought the rights and patterns for the Van Wert line a few years ago. They also make new Van Werts. They should be able to supply anything you would need.

Thank You guys for the responses. It is a VA-400 made in '85. Is their brochures/manuals out there? I've got a lot of questions that I'm trying to get answered, but I don't want to wear out my welcome, so I figured a brochure/manual would help.

Thanks again,

Chris

No problem Chris, you can ask any questions you want to.

There are a lot of Van Wert users on this forum. Our Mayor, Richard S. has a VA-1200, I have 2 VA-600's (1983 and 1987).

Here is the install manual and the parts break down.

Also, a little diagram that was posted on the forum a while ago. It shows how a triple aquastat works.

Well John, as far as contact information I would vote you in for top prize ! :D

Not much beats having the owners home and cell number at your fingertips when a problem arises.

DAMN!!
You guys are good! I do belong to several forums of different interests....ie: machining, home stereo geek stuff, and anything with an engine........<-------ex engine builder (sprint cars)................and I have to say, you guys are the most impressive. Prompt and Loaded with Info.
I really do appreciate the time and effort. The only reason I "got into coal" was because of my brother.....(retired airborne ranger). He told me of the time he spent in Alaska and said that coal heat is amazing. That was years ago and it stuck with me. I wish Everyone would see the benefits of "good 'ole coal". I digress.......I'll quit bloviating .......and just tell ya all....Thank You.
