McGiever, when I buy let's say 2" elboys in home deport, do I need to be buy 2" pipe? Or OD of that pipe has to be a little larger?
No, the 2" is the I.D. of the pipe, the elbows already know the O.D. standard needed, but are still called 2" to keep everything straight.

Thanks a lot McGiever.
And the SCH40 is a piping standard for that, right?

I am asking you because I am in a process of ordering 200m of pipes 1-1/2" in diameter. Salesman keeps telling me that that pipe has SCH40 standard ID is 1-1/2" and the OD of that pipe is 48.3mm and wall thickness 3.68mm. Just want to be sure it will fit into 1-1/2" fittings that I am ordering at another place......

Yes, SCH 40 is what has the I.D. that matches the named size.
OD Pipe/Tube: 48.3mm, Nominal Pipe Bore: 1.5"

2" is 2". the OD of 2" pipe is 2-3/8". A 2" fitting fits trade size 2" pipe.

**oops late to the game. didnt realize you had an answer already**

Unless you are buying PVC. SCH40 1" is not the same ID as sch80 1". sch80 pipe has a smaller ID due to increased wall thickness.

Today was a big day for me,
I finally managed to finish building first part of my boiler
Foundation, burner, auger, fan, controller. Everything finally connected and works.
Spent the whole day in a garage, wife said I am gonna burn all property.
Here how the mixture of pellets and anthracite buirns.
Later going to replace pellets with woodchips.

Next step would be to build a top with heat exchanger in it. I want to try building rocket type boiler with two combustible chambers.
In this case anthracite and wood chips will be burning in different chambers.
Anthracite in lower, then funnel and second chamber above.
I saw a video of a Japanese guy who built it.....

Filled Zota boiler with water and run it for couple of days to keep my garage warm..
It boils water pretty quickly, after goes to hibernation mode.
Here it runs on full power.

Anthracite. I run 2 projects at the same time. One project with Zota, and I do build another boiler from scratch, something I can use to burn all my garbage. I wish to build and run a rocket boiler, but not sure if I will succeed.

Pipes finally delivered.
Insolation orange pipes for underground installations, black iron pipes -above ground, inside of houses.

Black pipes are getting rusty quickly, spent couple of hours rubbing them with motor oil. Looks better now.
