- Stoker Coal Boiler: 1960 EFM520 installed in truck box
- Hand Fed Coal Stove: Crane 404 with variable blower
- Coal Size/Type: 404-nut, 520 rice ,anthracite for both
1960 EFM520 heating approx. 3500 sq ft. + DHW for 2 houses.
1 - 1987 -14 x 70 trailer with 2x4 walls,original windows ,metal skirting with 2" foil board ( R12 )
1- 1972 - 12 x 60 trailer with 2x3 walls ,Absolute junk vinyl windows that LEAK air,2x4 wall additions built alongside trailer to nearly equal 12x60,looks kinda like a rancher with the A-roof over it,un-insulated block on concrete foundation for entire perimeter. The one addition is a raised concrete slab that is a huge heat leech. This house has a Crane 404 hand fed stove to help warm the concrete slab to bearable temps,Crane burns avg 30#/day & is not capable of heating the entire house if temps are below mid-20's* or below mid-30*'s if windy.
1- 30x40 mainly concrete block repair shop, has good ceiling insulation,2 almost new insulated overhead doors, has cold concrete floor due to no insulation b4 previous owner poured it.
EFM520 sits inside a remote located 53' truck box with the heated water traveling thru nearly 1000' of buried pex.

We have four EFM 520's in the family, but I could only vote once.
Mine heats about 3500 sq. ft. worth of basement and house. It also produces domestic hot water for our family of 4 with an 80 gallon indirect water heater.
Most of the house was built in 1910, and it has been an ongoing project to tighten it up. I don't have enough radiation to max out the boiler even with the stoker on 4 teeth. Someday I would like to add my shop to the load, but there are many other things on the to-do list.

AHS S130 Coal Gun, heating 1,680 sq-ft, plus an 840 sq-ft walk-out finished basement, and an 840 sq-ft garage. Also DHW. Runs year round on Blaschak pea.
Call it 2,520 sq-ft or 3,360 sq-ft if you must. Garage is only maintained at 45 degrees.

Keystoker KAA2 Stoker Boiler heating 3000SF on 3 floors . Some discussion whether to include the 1st floor, but i say if its finished living space AND there are heating units(radiators) in the space it is putting load on the stoker therefore should be included.
Last few years burning 3 ton for the season, even though this year was exceptionally cold i think im still on track to be close to that as i only burned less than 1.5 ton so far.
House is about 100yrs old not very well insulated but thats offset somewhat with an enclosed sun porch that rocks on sunny days.

What! No Gentleman Janitor!
I submitted my Gentleman Janitor GJ-671 SU under EFM 350 since it has and EFM 350 stoker in it.
Van Wert VA-600, Axeman Anderson 130M, GJ-671 SU all connected together heating a 1400 sq ft ranch house and 900 sq ft garage/breezeway plus DHW.
Yes I know, that might not be enough. That's why I have another VA-600 and a BairMatic standing by.

It really makes no sense to separate Eshland from AHS. They are fully one and the same. Only the company name and ownership changed.
