So I bought my Coal gun used, I took a ton of pics of the wiring, but they ended up getting deleted. The wiring that is connected doesn't seem to jive with the schematic I have.
Could someone open up their black box (Dwyer) and take some pics of the wiring for me.
Since my boiler is far away in my garage how do I power the single zone valve for my indirect tank. I figured to just use a 20va transformer, but then do I just run the wire to a junction box. Just don't know the recommended way to do it.

Low voltage wire does not need to be put in a box. You are good with a 20va transformer. What brand zone valve are you using?

Just run 120v to it from the same circuit as your boiler. Mount it on a junction box

Kind of a shock looking at this with color photos after spending a decade with an Axeman manual printed by Gutenburg.

If it's a 120v zone valve, I don't need a transformer, I can just run it off any always on circuit? Or am I missing something?
