I ordered a VF 3000 3 weeks ago dealer told me I could pick it up in mid june.Well he called today and said Harman was behind on production they had so many orders for vf3000 that they were not going to get him one till january. He said Harman was going to do some changing and up dateing at there plant because of demand of boiler sales.I live in northwest Pa. If someone knows of a dealer within 100-150 milesof me that has one in stock please let me know.My luck just sold outdoor woodstove. like to get Vf 3000 instaled before fall comes.
PS love this fourm. Its bin a big help didin't take long to decide to get ride of outdoor wood (HOG)

I'm pretty sure the Fireplace Gallery has a few Keystokers if you're interested in purchasing one of them. Probably be out of stock tomorrow afternoon.   It's quite distance but they have them as far I know.

buy a keystoker if you can, they are better quality than the harman.

Any reason why you are set on the VF3000?

Here's what I see for options for you:

Hopper Fed:
Harman VF3000
**Broken Link(s) Removed**AHS S130 http://www.alternateheatingsystems.com/coalboilers.htm
Keystoker KAA-2/KA-6
**Broken Link(s) Removed**
Auger Fed
AA 130 http://www.axeman-anderson.com/anthratube.html (picture is not accurate)
EFM DF520 http://www.efmheating.com/d520.html (lots of used ones for sale, some members here refurbish them)

I may have missed a couple.

I saw this post and went

Then I called up Keystoker and ordered a KA-6. Will be ready in about 12 weeks.

:D

Just spoke with Gardens to Grow. He said he has had a bunch of calls today. :)
I ordered mine at the beginning of May. Originally it was supposed to be here around now. Today I was told that mine WOULD be delivered by the end of August, maybe sooner.
I told him it has to happen, because I can't afford to pay the oil man again.

Good luck to those who are still trying to figure out what they are getting. Unfortunately Harman is going to lose alot of business for this.

That was the place I originally went to and was going to order from him. He's a great guy and really knows his stuff, unfortunately I won't be doing business with him. My girlfriends father did purchase a beautiful Harman wood stove from him though. :D

It won't just be Harmon, this has been pretty standard "procedure" for the last few years except it just lot earlier. Reports of long waits usually didn''t crop until about late August at the earliest.

I see people on here talking about the Keystoker dealers and looking for a local one. I called the factory direct from the number on the website and placed an order this morning. I didn't talk to any dealers. Is this because I'm located out of state?

They'll only deal with the public if there is no dealer close to you.
