Greetings from 1,140 feet above mean sea level,

As it is early before the heating season begins I wanted to ask how or if any of you have
plumbed in a dump zone using a Zurn water to air space heater to an unheated garage
space and how you did it?

I don't know the hows, but I'll ask the whys:

Why would you waste good boiler heat by dumping it into an unheated garage? Is your intent to have the dump zone alone turn an unheated garage into a heated garage? Does your boiler need to dump excess heat that frequently?

Hello Larry,

It would be nice to have heat in the garage too and yes I overheat a lot when its warmer. I bought too much boiler simply based on the advice of the reseller. I could have gotten along with the KAA-2 but the KAA-2 takes up almost as much room as the dual fuel KAA-4-1.

I will probably just put in a smaller oil nozzle in the burner to heat the boiler when the weather is not totally coal friendly.

Considered a solar hot water system?

Sure they don't work in the winter but you can shut down the boiler and get water from solar system until its more coal friendly.

You're 1140 ft closer to the Sun than me .. take advantage of that.
