Since one pin bank goes unused in your relay, an 11 pin 3PDT relay would have been totally adequate. With a bit of shopping you might have saved a dollar or two, and it would perhaps have been a bit smaller.

Very nice work on your inverter setup!!!

Smaller would have been better lol
Only thing I would like to do, is somehow mold a socket with some type of material with the spade connectors that I have on it, and mount it in the face place, so that the relay plugs in from the outside and is accessible without disassembling it.

All pin or spade connector type relays have available base plates.hotblast1357 wrote: ↑Fri. Dec. 14, 2018 9:15 amSmaller would have been better lol

Here’s the ash pan after 5 days, looks a lot better now that the ash controller is setup properly.. I think having the power to it off all summer might have reset the setting.
Just did the math, since October 1st, auger has ran 11.3 hours, or 678 minutes, it moves 6 pounds a minute so that’s 4068 pounds, call it 90 days, that’s 45 per day, we’ve had some very cold temps so far.
And I’ve used 2,300 gallons of hot water since 11/6.
Oh and Larry, my fan motor is a 1/2HP 3750 RPM.
Heat call from a dead sleep was 14 minutes, and it ignited at 12.

Wow you don't burn much coal...... I fill a pan that size every 3 days right now, 2 when it gets cold. Been high 30's low to mid 40's here.hotblast1357 wrote: ↑Mon. Keep in mind that you ash may not be as dense. The AHS shaves the ash off the bottom of the fire, so it is a little more compressed. Think of popcorn, the more you handle it the less space it takes up.

Interesting, the AHS S260 runs a higher fan speed than the Axeman 130M. I wonder what the S130 fan speed is?
H.B., you might want to double check that motor speed. With 60Hz power it's difficult to come up with an AC motor that runs at 3750 RPM. I would bet its really 3450 RPM.

Whoa there, the "belt drive" AHS 130 and AHS 260 both use the same 1/2 HP by 1,725 RPM motor. Hotblast, is your Eshland a direct drive motor version? Is there any sort of electrical or mechanical speed reduction?

Yup hard to read, it’s a 3450!
Direct drive larry no reduction.
