Finally replaced the old cracked Belt, greased the bearings and cleaned and lubed the chain. :D Much quieter now.

When buying belts I go for the green agriculture belt, they are super tough and only a little more.

Heat will eat them so look at the applcation closely before choosing a poly belt. Green ag belts take a pounding like a champ.

Is the 4L250 the same size V-Belt that the AHS S130 uses?

Given the size difference between the two boilers, it is very unlikely the same. :)

If 4L250 means 25" in length, they are probably the same belt.

When you say green, do you mean V-Belts such as the Gates Green Stripe series?

Not sure, their Green Stripe are truck/bus belts IIRC. They have a Power Rated that has Aramid fiber, I think that is their HD ag belt.

My boiler is already prepped for winter. I will have to remember to take the belt guard off and look at it when its time for its spring cleaning and lube.

I did look it up on Grainger, and the Dayton 4L250 is 25" long. It is also 1/2" wide on the outside, 5/16" wide on the inside, and I believe 0.31" in thickness (this later dimension not being mentioned on Grainger).

The AHS part number (as seen on the AHS parts website) for the S130 belt is 200-326. Their part number for the S260 belt is 200-327. This would imply that they do not use the same belt.

The two use different belts.
