Commercial Boiler

Can anyone recommend a boiler for commercial use ?

- Stoker Coal Boiler: Van Wert VA1200
- Coal Size/Type: Buckwheat/Anthracite
How big you need? Keystoker has on their website up to 1 million BTU's but personally if it were me and I'd do 2 in tandem or 3,4,5... If one breaks you still have heat.

I only need 160,000 btu, Harman and other local dealers will not sell me a regular boiler because it is going in a taveren. Dont understand what the difference is !!!

- Coal Size/Type: Pea size, Superior, deep mined
The difference is ASME rating. Commercial applications it is often demanded by the state or the insurance companies. The AHS get's an extra $2,000 for basically the same boiler if you want the ASME sticker. Basically it is a paperwork trail of the steel and parts in the boiler as well as documentation of who welded it and their certification.

It also includes inspections by ASME certified inspectors of the internal welds, materials and manufacturing processes.
