I installed the WL110 in October with some help from the forum, which is a great asset for anyone with questions. I started the 110 on oil and started burning coal third week of October and began heating water at around same time. I did not want to post my review of the 110 until we got some below 0* weather, which has happened here in Downeast Maine.
The boiler is exceptional and has had no problems heating our 1800 sq. ft. home. The stoker is set at 15.5 threads from where threads first catch with the blower wide open.
I have not had any blowoffs or overheating episodes and have only had two out fires, which were my fault. The hopper was low, which stopped feeding and one was when I let boiler stay down too long for cleaning.
I vacuum the top of tubes every 2-3 weeks and move the baffles around some to knock down the coal ash.
The brick lined chimney has a massive stone fireplace attached to it on first floor with the outlet sealed off. The 110 heats the stones which provides extra heat to that front room as well as keeping floors warm. I look for vapor out of the chimney every morning going to get the paper and even when below 0*, I cannot detect any heat. I guess the stone fireplace and chimney are taking up what heat is being lost. Yes, the chimney is clear as I am maintaining .02-.04 draft in firebox with no issues of CO monitor going off!
I have been heating with OWB, but wanted to change due to too much wood burnt and house not comfortable. Wife is very happy with the 110.
I have burned 2.4 tons of rice coal and am going to try some buckwheat next week to see how that works.
Sorry for the long post, but wanted to give the proper credit to A GREAT HEATING BOILER!!
I would recommend this to anyone. Everyone who sees the boiler is amazed at how small it is.
Thank you Leisure Line for making such a wonderful product.

Welcome to the forum.
Glad to hear you have your boiler up and running. Also glad to hear some positive news on an LL boiler. If you can, would you post some pictures of you boiler and install.

Hey Don, have there been issues with the LL boilers? Just curious, I find them interesting. Most of the reviews seem to indicate an initial frustration getting it settled into to a good spot.

Please don't use me as a model as I was below green when this started.....I was just a seed! I am now at the green level and things are working as they should for the most part. I still have a little work to do. Only thing I wish I could do is watch the fire without laying on the floor, I believe this WL110 has a door you can open to view the fire? Plus I can't shut my brain off and am always thinking of something to do or try which leads to a lot of off topic stuff!StokerDon wrote: ↑Sun. Dec. 30, 2018 11:21 pmOne comes to mind pretty quickly.

Seems that's more an issue with installation or layout? Threads like that keep me humble when I get dillusions of grandeur and intstaling my own boiler. LOLStokerDon wrote: ↑Sun. Dec. 30, 2018 11:21 pmOne comes to mind pretty quickly.
