Availability of EFM 520 Parts

Hello,
Yesterday I was talking with a customer who's father owns a plumbing heating business.
I asked him about the stoker business and he stated that the parts are hard to get and have become very expensive. This is where I have been getting my efm 520 parts.
Has anyone else heard the same thing? Are efm new parts going to cost a fortune? will there be no availability?
Seems hard to believe, but strange things happen.

Mitch

It's hard to imagine a parts availability problem on units like that stoker that still are in production. Even higher pricing would be limited by the ability to substitute non-EFM wear parts like shear pins and auger flighting, and the plentiful availability of used components. And most of the parts in those things tend to have very long useful lives.

Are there any specific parts you have in mind?

My customer mentioned the blower units for one. he said components for the blower were hard to get had increased dramatically in cost.
This is just what said to me. I thought in would come here and ask.

Yes, new EFM parts are more expensive than they used to be...but you can still order any part you need for a 520 right from EFM. There are also TONS of used parts available if you know who to call.

It's good to know that everything is still available. I understand that things cost more today than 50yrs ago. what doesn't cost more now?
I always thought that if you want something good, well built or reliable, than paying a bit for more for that was not a big deal, it's too be expected.
