In the winter I make myself do it everyday when I leave for work. The summer its on about a 3 day cycle the problem for me is was monday day one or tuesday.? Same with me. I have found it easier to top off my drum with coal every time I change the ash tub...I know how much the coal can go down before the ash tub is full, so it makes it easy to judge every time I make a trip to the beer fridge.
