Can any of the owners, here, of a EFM 700 or 520 get the measurements of their boiler.
Footprint meaning the base size and then amount the stoker head and the supply screw stick out the sides. Height just to the top of the boiler section.
I am starting the preliminary design of the building for it. I want to keep the building as small as possible. The building will be only used for the boiler and the coal bin. No storage of anything else, will keep the insurance costs down for my house and shop.

These dimensions assume there are jackets on the boilers.

520 - 27 5/8"W x 51 3/8"H x 42 1/2"L; stoker protrudes 15" and can be mounted on either side; auger protrudes on opposite side by a variable amount up to 83 3/8".

700 - 30 1/4"W x 55 1/4"H x 41 3/4"L; stoker protrudes 17" and can be mounted on either side or front; auger extends L or R when facing stoker, parallel to and with a centerline 5" from base; angle and length of auger are variable.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Mike. Those are what I have been hunting for.
I need a good drawing before I can get the permits for the building. I hate to build it bigger than it would need to be.

Mine is in a 10'x10' block building. The coal bin is not inside. I would prob go 12'x12' if I had to do over. The bin would need to be added to that.
