Hot Air Coal Stoker Furnace: reading allegheny stoker
Hot Air Coal Stoker Stove: alaska kodiak stoker 1986. 1987 triburner, 1987 crane diamond
Coal Size/Type: rice

glad you got it taken care of!

i'm kind of a newb to coal also......when I moved up here in 2005 I was like so this is like wood? I was so wrong lol

old thread: anyway AHS told me not to worry until 600 deg.

You must mean a stack temp of 600degF. If you mean a 600degF water temp, that would be insane. FYI the thread discussion was about boiler water temps surpassing high limit.

Well, technically if the boiler hit 600 degrees, you definitely don't have to worry anymore. Just fill in the hole in the ground and start over.
