Here is a photo of the boilers before removal. They were heating a three story apartment building with three commercial store fronts on the bottom floor. The last owner that fired the boilers told me that only one boiler was run most of the time the second was only lit during extremely cold weather. The 260 must be quite a boiler.

Hello Greg and all other AA260 owners,

Just wondering if Greg or any of the 260 owners had any more issues with partially burning fire pots.

As well, I'm wondering just how many AA260 and AHS 260 users are here at NEPA.

My AA 260 burns all it's coal, with very little unburnt,, as long as the boiler is working reasonably hard.
In the late spring. when there is very little call for heat and only a little DHW use, I do start to get some
unburnt in the ashpan.. and that's when I shut 'er down.
