Where do you live in Maine ? I live in the Houlton area and bought mine at Aroostook Milling in Houlton . Welcome to a great forum and if you don't mind give us a little more information , were all friends here .

Look carefully when you find a boiler....any boiler. Tankless coil area damage; fan blower chamber for rot from leaking tankless gasket; grate rollers seized and flat-spotted; ratchet mechanism bushings and pins; gearbox oil condition(test it) was the fan supported when disassembled(probably not) and is anything bent or damaged; Head bearings on the auger tube......auger condition?; solenoid and anthratube; is the base a replace item? Aqua-stats included?

My point is that you could buy one for 1500 and dump another 1500 to 2K in it. That is with YOU doing the work on the little beast. Been there, done that......
