New to the forums but have been reading for smoe time and wanted to post a pic of the new unit. I would be happy to share my knowledge of this install as I have learned from others. This has been a great board to learn from.

This is installed in a new construction home with in floor radiant heat (2300 sq ft) with 9 ft ceilings and a full basement. After 20 hrs the entire house was up to temp (67 deg). not to shabby. I have not added the load of DHW yet but presume it will handle it fine. I am running an SWG power vent and have had to dial the idle setting WAY back but feel I am close now. Outside temps are still warm (35 days and low 20's at night) but all seems good. Burning about 5 lbs/hr right now while the house settles into its new temp. I suspect this will drop until I move in.

Thanks to all the members that I had learned from thus far.

Damon

I have a small issue with the aquatat that required direct (temporary) power to the circulator but the folks at Leisure Line are taking care of that. Great folks to deal with so far.

Thanks for the comments.

Hey Damon looks great!

What size expansion tank do you have on your install? I could not see it from the pic.
I have not added the load of DHW yet but presume it will handle it fine.
I have not heard of any issues. I have the 5GPM coil but I run it into the cold side of my 50 Gal. Rheem Marathon and recharge the Rheem from lower stat signaling of that water heater/storage tank so DHW is plentiful.

No out fires to date (10/23 fire up) and I don’t feel I have hit the dump zone for the past two weeks with my settings....... but I have no way of tracking that unless I'm in the basement. The boiler was sitting around 210F over night with no call for heat (TLC 2K running) and no DHW draw down.

I do like this boiler big time over my Tarm hand-fed boiler. I also run a Harman TLC 2000 nut burner in the family room, this keeps the wife extra toasty/ :).

Enjoy the heat!

Dick,

Thanks for the comments. The tank is a 7.6 gallon B&G. I have my idle down far enough that I start loosing boiler temp after about 35 minutes of boiler shut down with the primary loop circulator on. I am running 7 seconds on and 7 minutes off with rehostat for coal on min and fan rehostat off, but I have a power vent so that may change things. I have not had the boiler go over 192 even after a long (18 hour) call for heat on new house when cold. Upper limit is 170 lower is 150 with 10 deg diff.

With new a constructed house and radiant floors, that boiler may never have to fire hard.Your DHW might be the only hard load your boiler will see. Nce clean install and welcome.
