Hi guys. I have the honeywell timer attached to this post running on a EFM 520. I would like to know how to set this to go off once an hour. It currently goes off more than once an hour and I want to be as efficient as possible. Any help would be appreciated

That looks like an S400 timer. You should be able to flip the piece labeled cam segment on your diagram so that the timer only activates each hour. Turned the way shown on the diagram with two low points it activates every 1/2 hour. Just remove the part labeled cam screw and flip the cam segment and that should do the trick.

Thanks for the response. When you say flip, do you mean rotate the piece, or mirror the piece? (aka line the arcs up?)

Turn cam segment so curve edge is oppisite of the way it is in your picture.

Right you want the curved part of the cam segment to point outward so that part of the timing cam is not detented. As the timing cam moves around and the detented portion is on top this allows the mercury switch to drop completing the circuit which turns the stoker unit on. Right now that happens every 30 mins. When you make the switch it will only happen once per hour.

The "ON" time can be tweaked by loosing the "Timing Lock Screw" and increasing or reducing the "ON" time for either the half hour or 1 hour cycle.
