Well, I have a boiler now. Time for pics on this thread. It's a late 1950's (as told by the AA company) Axeman Anderson 130, somewhat restored with some new parts and an Earl Shleb paint job lol

Another beauty... Congrats. Do you have a tempering valve hiding in there somewhere for your DHW?

Not sure if this is the place to post this or not. I have a question about we’re the cold water goes into the stoker ...is that metal to metal or is there some sorta gasket? It looks like I have a leak but I don’t want to dig into it now in the middle of winter. The fire went out in it in the middle of the night and when I went downstairs to look at it I noticed water coming out kinda small drips but disappeared as it got warmer. I’m thinking I may have a pin hole crack in one of the pipes. It’s a rather old Losch size 350 . This summer I was going to take the jacket off it and have a look. Any help would be greatly appreciated so if I need to start looking for parts or maybe I just need to replace the pipe they look like copper maybe one inch or two inch thanks.

Nice install. I see you used Pro-Press fittings. I have had those on my install for 20 years trouble free. I think you should upgrade from that trash can to a 55 gallon drum with a tight fitting removable top though.

The trash can is for testing.
