has been under test with a 110K burner for a while and is going in my garage for burn testing this winter. We have decided that with the surface area and the amount of water capacity we will use that boiler as a 220K btuh model with a double Pocono burner (now known as the Leisure Line 220). I am working with Axeman-Anderson on finalizing the ASME compliance in our design as well as ironing out the fabrication details for ease of production. This boiler will not be ready for purchase until sometime later this burn season (early 2011). Retail price has increased from the projected under $4k to projected under $5k. It will be available as a optional dual fuel unit with oil or gas burners.
The 110K project (now known as the Leisure Line 110/165) has evolved to utilize an existing boiler design and is now a dual fuel unit that will list for $3995 including a 3 gpm domestic coil, oil gun, one circulator pump, triple and high limit aquastats, PRV and an ash sensor to control the max fire. This unit utilizes a modified WL165 Axeman Anderson pressure vessel/with jacket and Beckett Oil Gun as found on the AA website http://www.axeman-anderson.com/cutaway.html this unit will sit on a LL base on which the feeder is mounted. I have included a few photos of one of the existing units under test. The boiler employs a timed idle speed control using reduced fan and stoker speed and an ash sensor which controls high fire rate when the aquastat is calling for heat. This way the unit can fill the grate with fresh coal very quickly to provide full fire when needed. There are fire brick around the feeder that shield the base from radiant heat coming off the feeder. The oil gun hangs on a bracket on the front of the boiler during coal operation and takes about 10 minutes to convert over to oil operation (a insulation insert covers the stoker and the gun slips on existing bolts on the front cover after the view port is removed). Units are available for beta testing at a reduced cost over retail, we are doing this to get as much time on the unit before general release to the customer base and with the understanding that it is not yet fully UL listed (all the components are but the integrated package is not). The unit will utilize the existing 200# Pocono hopper in early versions but a new 300# hopper is under development for the 110 boiler and a 400# hopper is under development for the 220 boiler.

Sting as Matthaus has said it is a axeman-anderson vessel with a scratch design base which integrates the feeder unit. And yes it is a verticle fire tube wet leg boiler.
