I have Rob. There is still the dark spot in the middle. Well it's not really that dark...LOL, but it's there.
Apparently all stokers leave some unburnt coal in the ash pan, I recall I adjusted the air to 6 in an attempt to burn as thoroughly as possible.

Broke a shear pin!
Dug out the auger and cranked it in reverse, piece of coal around pea size and a stone fell out of the tube. Well that will do it. Close inspection of the small amount of coal left in the bin produced a few more stones and oversized pieces of coal.

Not using horizontal reciprocating coal screeners will cause that all the time sadly.

True, but using a horizontal screening deck system provides the best slowest
screening of product size and any oversize is either returned to the top end
of the screen deck or thrown off into waste.

Hello CoalHeat,
double ouch, that is one thing you do not need for sure. Are you not using a doghouse
because the exposed auger is so close to the end wall of your homes foundation??

Yes, my bin auger is very short, not much room with my current installation.lzaharis wrote: ↑Thu. Mar. 31, 2022 9:37 am========================================================================================================
