While things are automatically happening in the basement, the upstairs is kept toasty!

How to load the skids.
We order 4-1/2 tons of coal in a truck load. This fills 4 skids.
As we have 7 skids total, it gives time for the new coal skids to dry out before we use them.

For a Logo boiler control update, open attached file.
I have added more features to it.
The Logo replaces your hold fire timer. It saves coal and monitors your stoker for you.

For those of you who want to buy a used Logo off the Internet and have me program it, I can no longer load the program for free. A couple of things have happened since I used to offer to load the program for free.
1.) I invested another 40 hours further developing the program. I now have over 120 hours of programming time in the program. The program is awesome.
2) I have a boiler maker interested in buying the program.
3.) I realized the only way I can protect the program is to offer it on pre-loaded memory cards that cannot be copied.
4.) I can sell individuals the pre-loaded memory cards along with a complete installation, operating manual for a small fee. The fee basically covers my cost of materials and time to send these out. You just pop it into your Logo and you are ready to go. The memory card will never lose the program. I will be posting these for sale in the NEPA Crossroads Free Classified under Furnaces, HVAC, Plumbing Supplies 4 Sale. It works on all stokers.

thanks for the tutorial. If my basement floor was less crooked...this would be my next project! Do you have a version of this that "hovers" over broken and uneven concrete?....perhaps mag-lev. Let me know when you have a prototype!

I admit, this method is for those out there that are lucky enough to have a large basement with a smooth, level floor.
A jackhammer might be easier than designing a mag-lev hovercraft!
At least you know now what to spend your money on should you hit the lottery!
