Just got my electric bill for November... Here are the prices...

These are all not including the taxes and credits...October 26

to November 26. The basic ready to serve charge is $17.33 month.

Standard Service: Delivery= $0.07468059 Kwhr

Supply= $0.05003 Kwhr Total= $0.12471059

Voluntary TOU Electric Car: Delivery On Peak= $0.09296059

Supply On Peak= $0.04233 Total $0.1361359

Delivery Off Peak= $0.02029593

Supply Off Peak= $0.02514 Total $0.04543593

Peak is 7am-11pm Off Peak 11Pm-7am....7Days a week....

I pay a small premium to use ON peak power, but the OFF Peak offsets some of that..

I now have 2 off peak meters and am thinking about changing the last one to the OFF

Peak rate now that we are all electric on 3 vehicles.

All forms of energy are subsidized . For example Desert Storm.

I pay for all my driving,,, I'm able to buy the electric that would be wasted ...

The night power is under utilized and the price is lower due to a lot of

power is dumped due to not enough demand so I actually lower your

bill by buying what they can't sell.

Power should all be sold on a TOU basis so they power generators

wouldn't have to add excess capacity to feed the peak demand.

Time of use. I never seen that option for my electricity company though.

This is the best explanation of rates...Remember only "SUPPLY" is variable...

https://www.nationalgridus.com/time-of-use

https://www.nationalgridus.com/media/pdfs/resi-wa ... charts.pdf

The "DELIVERY" portion of your bill set by state regulation...
