Finally finished up my install on the fireplace insert. Bought it back in February when I got the new house. Mainly for looks, and to seal up the chimney. Fired it for the first time today and I just say, I’m impressed! As someone who previously burned coal, or burned wood in an older style stove, these epa models are the cats ass. Watching the smoke burn is beautiful, and a few sticks of wood lasted hours. with the central air blower running, the whole house is 75 with windows open to vent the “ curing smell”. I’m extremely impressed and anyone in the market for a wood burning I highly recommend Drolet. Fantastic prices. I paid 1700 delivered for the stove and stainless liner kit. Way more now but if I had to I’d pay the higher price.
