1 JUNE 2022 PRICE INCREASE!!!!!

Rates are going up on electric supply... Some have more increases some less..

With natural gas up so much there is no way to not have increases.

https://whyy.org/articles/electricity-suppliers-u ... ity-rates/

https://www.thecentersquare.com/pennsylvania/risi ... 6.6%25)%3B

Nat gas up 2.6 times cost last year.. Coal must also be up too...

Cost of energy spiking on the PJM grid...

https://www.pjm.com/markets-and-operations.aspx

You can see how the heat affects the price of electric and PA Has 40% natgas and 20% coal.

Not in PA, but just started 3rd year of a 3 year locked in electric rate. 5.59 cents/kWhr.
Could of had 2years for 5.5 cents but I was more so inspired to lock in for 3 years.

Mine is up as well, but still very reasonable compared to many areas. Last bill was $326 for 2515 kwh.

You're doing better than us. Generation costs alone are ~ $.12 with PPL now + another approximate $.05 for transmission charges. No more deals being offered right now.

$0.16 for the electric...
$0.16 for the transmission...
$7.00 for the privilege of connecting...
So $0.32/kwh...

I'm guessing because NG prices went up due to the export of our gas to Europe, Global marketing .

CapeCoaler:

You have the right to produce your own electric which would be 4x multiple of the

$0.32 KwHr . Electricity is a bargain in the US look at world prices.

https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/electricity_prices/

These are the total price all inclusive.
