$0.32 KwHr . Electricity is a bargain in the US look at world prices.
According to the chart on that page, USA is one of the most expensive with only 6 countries being more $$

Look at the income in these countries to compare... Just the cost is not enough....

https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-ranking ... by-country

Many countries under $5,000 per year of income.

Two in the top are Denmark and Germany. Denmark is one the largest if not the largest manufacturers of wind mills, they also have the highest percentage of power produced through wind. Germany under ideal conditions can produce enough power to fully meet demand with renewables.... yet they are the most expensive.

Speaking of free money... Did anyone else take exception to our president elect promising Georgia voters $2,000 if they voted for the Democrats in the special election right after he (Biden) won the election? It was outrageous, but I never heard anyone complain. It has to be against the law for a president or president elect to bribe voters...

It is very illegal to pay for votes. But this Adm breaks many laws simply by neglecting to enforce them. The border is a prime example. Apparently there is no punishment for failing to enforce laws you dont like or dont serve to get you reelected. A crime punishable by impeachment for sure but only of you have the majority control in the House of Rep.

On a bright note one power generator has offered a 12 month rate at about the same as ppls price to compare. Iv already signed up for some of these other power suppliers and they never follow through. They just ignore the request. Everyone else is about 15% higher

There used to be generation offers that beat PPL's price to compare by a couple cents per kwh but they have all dried up. I saw only one that was cheaper but it was only for 3 months. All these plans time out at some point and then switch to a variable rate plan if you don't switch and this is what they are hoping. I have never seen one time out and then offer a competitive fixed rate. Here is the Pa Power Switch website [/https://www.papowerswitch.com/shop-for-electricit ... your-home/]

I was getting 5.9 fore several yrs when PPL was offering 9.5 .Then about 1 to 2 yrs ago all the good rates disappeared and 9.5 was the lowest rate. Then ppl went to 12.36 which is wher they are now for my zip code. INteresting all the renewables solar and wind are around 20c Kwh generation ,much higher than 12.3

Last year I signed up with a plan PPL offered that guarantees a I think it was 30% savings for one year which was about 7 cents kwh. They place you with a participating company. My one year ends Nov 1st. The company I was placed with offered a 14 cents kwh fixed rate when the 1 year is up. That's 2 cents over the price to compare. I'd have to be stupid to stay with them. I don't think PPL is offering that same program this year but I doubt I am eligible for it twice in a row but maybe. They all do the same thing I have found. They hope life's happenings make you forget to shop for electricity and you will just stay with them. December's new price to compare will probably be even higher. Edit: It was called Standard Offer and it is a 7 % discount off the price to compare. It is not giving me the option to sign up but I think that is because I am already on it.[/urlhttps://www.pplelectric.com/site/Ways-to-Save/Rates-and-S ... 1663856018

That program is not available right now to anyone
most likely because none of the generation suppliers are signing up for it anymore.

Thanks K2
That eliminates that option. I guess I go with the 3 month plan at about 10 cents kwh to get me through the coldest part of the winter and hope things get better but I'm not holding my breath.
