Hi,
please take a loot at this old steam tractor powered by coal firstly...

That's powerful.
I wonder if today a steam tractor powered by coal/agricultural waste pellets can compete with diesel tractors.
It'd ve automated loading pellet and ignition. In addition I think efficiency'd have to be good today if we think that the latest steam engines powered by coal for locomotives were 27% efficient with condensing(source: https://www.yumpu.com/en/document/read/4605326/st ... team-power).
Obviously the biggest advantage'd be the price of the fuel.
What do you think about?

There's a few YouTube videos of 100 year old steam tractors dragging modern equipment around like they aren't even there. The advantage they have is massive weight and peak torque at zero RPM. Hard to beat that program.
