Newbie alert! I just got home from purchasing a new coal furnace. I went with the Reading Juniata, price was right and they told me 10-12 weeks delivery. The Harman dealer told me 2009, so I went with the Reading. I'm going to keep my oil burner as a backup if we go away for an extended period of time during the cold months. I want to hook the stoker up to the chimney and power vent the oil burner. The lady at the store said I should find out if my oil burner is power ventable. I've got a pretty old oil burner, it was here when I brought the house 15 years ago, and is a Crown Energy Pack 129. Does anyone know how I can determine if this oil burner is power ventable? Thanks in advance. This forum is golden!
