Hello
We are looking for a heating system for our yurt. We found a Jotul 505. It is an old Norwegian stove. Who is using such a stove? Is is possible to burn wood in it? Do you think it will heat up a yurt from 50 m2?
Hope to hear from someone!

Greetings from Wilko Lobeek

That is a model 507, correct? Your going to be awful busy putting wood in a small firebox like that stove has. It was made for anthracite coal which gave it longer burn times. If you want to burn wood you will be better off getting a small stove made to burn wood.

That particular stove has an extension added which should heat your yurt using anthracite coal.
