I have a wood stove with a broken glass window. it is 8 3/8 X 13 X 3/16. A local company quoted me $139.38 plus tax. That is more than the stove is worth! I cannot determine the manufacturer. In small print I found Fabrique Au Canada Par S-19126 10 Atlas Court Brampton, Ontario. I searched the address it came up an auto parts manufacturer. The is HW-557004 stamped in a plate. I think WH stands for Warnock Hersey with is a testing company, not a manufacturer. Several model numbers are listed but it doesn't single on one out as the model I have, S141E plus others. It isn't clear at all. I busted my butt getting this thing out of a basement and now I am regretting it. I might end up putting a blank steel plate where the window belongs. Anyone have any suggestions or solid info on a piece of glass more reasonably priced?
The two quotes I have are $139.38 plus tax and $117.00 tax included.
