I was watching some youtube videos and during this one the guy talks about how how $4,000.00-$5,000.00 worth of coal suddenly cost 8-10k. This is in Canada I think. I sure hope the greenies don't inflict such a thing on us Yanks here in the US!
By the way he now burns rye screenings. Heating 7k sq. ft.

I watched that same video the other day. I was wondering the same thing. His coal doubled in price! I have family that live in Western Canada and from what they tell me, everything is very expensive up there. Real estate, cloths, used cars, everything and, the free health care pretty much sucks!

They'll be selling coal in small baggies on street corners if that happens!

Nope, our govt wont miss a chance to tax anything they can and claim its because of global warming.

According to the Feb 20 issue of Economist magazine coal now supplies 2% of electricity in the UK, down from 25% in 2015. A coal tax + wind farms made coal uncompetitive.

More likely a coal tax combined with government subsidy of wind made coal noncompetitive. And they call this capitalism?
