My sister has a wood burner that she and her husband used to use to heat their home in Minneapolis. It was probably purchased in the last 15 years, but I don't know what kind it is or if it's worth much today.

It measures 28" wide x 29" high and 18.5" deep.

Please share any info or opinions about this stove.

Thanks.

Appears to be soapstone which were expensive stoves. Probably from the 1970s or 80s.

"ditto" on what Franco stated. I believe their was a company in Vermont back in the 80's making these.

There is a 'woodburner' website: www.hearth.com that can probably help you some.
Cheers

Looks like a Hearthstone woodStove. Unsure what model though.

Likely a Hearthstone Heritage model if my memory serves me. It is what many refer to as a tube stove with secondary air pipes, and no catalyst. These were either tube stoves, or catalyst stoves, depending on which model that was purchased. Today, they are hybrid stoves with both tubes and catalysts.

Fred, there's an ash pan under that grate.
