Few more. The nickle piece above the firebox door is kicking my @$$ . Really don't wanna use anything abrasive on it.

Nickles lookin good. I know you're using that glo-coat--but have ya ever tried "MOTHERS" ?? I've had REAL good results with it--any auto supply.

I use it on the tailpipes of my truck. I'll give it a whirl...never thought to use that. Just been using Brasso with good success...til this point

Brief update. Still needs restoration but a short test fire was in order. Throws some good heat. Garsge door was open for venting *

Update - stove has been completely restored and brought up to code.

Thank you! I wanted to add that this stove still is wearing it's ORIGINAL NICKEL! Came back beautifully 🖒
