Was looking for any pellet making machine, something I can run in my garage. As far as I got the process of making wood pellets consist of 3 stages. Please correct me if I am wrong.
1. First stage, making fine size wood chips.
2. Drying.
3. Pressing pellets out of dry product.

I've heard wood itself should contain some natural glue witin, оtherwise pellets won't stay glued.
Anyone had any experience with pellets here?
Well, I have 50 acres of forest in Canada and big pile of old logs, something that used to be a shed long time ago. Previous owner took it down but didn't bother removing that garbage out of property.
I am also cutting trees preparing firewood and have a pain with all these branches around.

I am not going to switch from coal to pellets. In fact my boiler can run on both fuels, :-).
I just want to clean my property, well, I thought about getting wood chipper. But I don't need soo much wood chips. And getting another boiler that runs on wood chips, omg that is expensive....another problem would be with storing wood chips.
And pellets, I will just burn them in boiler....

We had a pretty long thread on that already. You may be able to find it with the search feature. I think the scale is to small to be practical myself. I personally would recommend something else for your time and money well spent.
