I can't believe I did not get a fuel delivery in the fall. Going to be an extra $150 now.

I use very little HO now and I am damned sure I am going to keep it that way. Not to put to fine a point on things ... experts say Iran this, VZ that but US up and Brazil up yada yada yada and 50% of the analysts have it all wrong as usual. Take this to the bank ...

7 billion screwing their brains out and just the increase in world population per week is swamping all other considerations. LOAD UP with all the coal you can afford. :D You heard it here first.

My last delivery was October of 2016. I use about 120 gallons per year for DHW and heat May - Sep.

I still have an underground heating oil tank, but my coal boiler replaced the oil boiler 7 years ago and I hauled the old dinosaur oil boiler off for its scrap value.

I have burnt maybe a gallon of heating oil in the new house, just to test fire the hot air furnace...

And that’s all I ever plan to run in it each year, just to make sure it still works.

S Tn is the tropics and HO is mostly a NE product. I thought you burned oil from palm trees and Elvis momentos.

I use NYSERDA guides as a standard as there are many standards

https://www.nyserda.ny.gov/researchers-and-policy ... oil-prices

19.7% off right now ... whoops sorry Henry Hub is up another 1.25% as we speak. SEPA, just dig a hole and get a moonshine kit.

To All -

Today I ordered a minimum delivery of 150 gallons of fuel oil to heat my DHW this spring, summer and this fall. Cash Price is $ 2.84.9. I plan on shutting down my 520 sometime next week.

I run my coal boiler all year to supply the summer DHW

because it is my cheapest alternative . Even the off peak

electric would be more expensive. I burn Bit coal and it

is lower in cost than anthracite so I get a good savings.

Have burned all year round since 1989.

That was unpopular so you don't want me to tell you about this one
