Who is the actor here? Many parties have an interest in this. I tell you one thing, fill up with HO now just in case. No insurance companies are going to insure tankers in the SH now. Make sure you have plenty of popcorn and the TV works as this will get very interesting. The world is awash with oil so it may not come to big price increases.

You just know anyone involved with oil will start hammering the crap out of prices due to this little blip on the horizon. I hadn't even thought about insurance companies until I was listening to NPR this afternoon on the way home.

As for NPR, every once in a while, although not often, subjects do come up that make me wonder why I didn't think of that.

CO, I have no idea who did it. Of course, the US blames Iran. The oil market is taking it very calmly but whoever the actor is they will just keep exploding things until they get the desired effect.. SH is a very narrow piece of water that has always been a trouble spot. So it can get really troubled very quickly. Could just be a crooked oil VIX trader who can make tons of money on turbulence in the market. Fascinating. The only thing I know is that it will get worse from here.

I don't know who did it either but as usual the US is setting it's sights on the last guy that made them mad. Today it's Iran, tomorrow who knows. Easy way to get a war started again though for the right people unfortunately.

How do you defend those lumbering tanker giants. If it was BB trying to get the world to move to EVs through higher gas prices when you just cancel his passport and threaten to take away his Bolt toy, problem solved. If you move to the idea that sophisticated saboteurs are at play with a mission the question is will they now stop doing stupid things. You see it's the trend. However this plays out it's higher oil prices ... not good.

No CS, they do not know. It's like Iran and WMD and Libya etc etc. More importantly, you now sow the seeds of the idea to luny groups.throughout the world.

Why are these types of videos always fuzzy? We can guide a missile to a target thousands of miles away, do face recognition in a large crowd, see a person in their yard from satellite photos on google earth, but they never get good videos of these things?

One of the things I enjoy about this board is people here dont really trust much that they are told.

The Mossad did not want it to look to perfect but instead it just looked more suspicious as you say. Of course, now it can't be enhanced to show boat details. It just happened that the cameras were in the right place at the right time? The whole thing stinks. Always follow the money. Iran has little to gain but Israel hates Iran and thinks they will destroy their country once they have the bomb. This once again is a God given opportunity to get the US to do their dirty work. Seen it all before and we are still falling for this chit? Will we ever learn? Hasn't enough blood been spilled?
