There's a history of Iran attacking tankers, they are behind most every evil thing that happens in the mid east and they are now broke and desperate. So blame the Jews. No one there wants a war, they want Iran to behave and give up their quest for nukes. Doesn't look like that's going to happen anytime soon at this rate.

The ship was damaged above the water line.

Dumping ballast water will raise the ship considerably...
Keeping the ship from sinking...
While allowing the pumps to dewater the bilge...

Look at the picture of the ship. It's waterline has never been that high, fairly obvious to even a landlubber.

. So blame the Jews.
Nobody is accusing or blaming anyone. Theocracies are evil by nature but the Iranian people are not. CIA is evil too but we are nice people. BB is basically nice but is driven by an evil force. For Iran to have done this like this means they are stupid and incompetent and they are not. I am trying to find the real actor on this but then I am also trying to find the people responsible for 9/11 and many many other events. The account of the incident by the Japanese tanker owner gets top billing and he says the mine theory is BS. Where I am coming from is this should skyrocket oil and gold but that is not happening. Curiouser and curiouser.

The owner of the ship says it was not hit by a mine, and that crew members saw something flying toward it right before the blast.

The Mossad did not want it to look to perfect but instead it just looked more suspicious as you say. Of course, now it can't be enhanced to show boat details. It just happened that the cameras were in the right place at the right time? The whole thing stinks. Always follow the money. Iran has little to gain but Israel hates Iran and thinks they will destroy their country once they have the bomb. This once again is a God given opportunity to get the US to do their dirty work. Seen it all before and we are still falling for this chit? Will we ever learn? Hasn't enough blood been spilled?

Do the Iranians even have enough money to move their weapons around at this time?

Not rhetorical, seriously asking.

Interesting review of the recent tanker attacks...
Seems to make sense on a global and regional perspective...
Russia and China looking at the long play...
To squeeze the US out...
Lets see what plays out at G20...

It still a coal party for me...
Might need to invest in a coal range going forward...

Such a smart man. It always was a coal party for me and now with my beautiful stoves I'm loving this coal thing. I just can't do the coal range thing due to structural issues and it's a bummer.

Time to fill up with HO as I did last week and lots of coal very soon if it would only stop raining. Somebody in the ME is going to do something stupid soon that is for sure. If we can lob 59 cruise missiles at a falafel stand in Syria over nothing then anything is possible.

If there is war the chances are rather good.
