My brother has one of those spliters, I'll bet it's at least 40 years old. First thing he did was put a bigger wedge on it. It splits a lot faster than that one but it is 5 HP.

OK, I've developed an upgrade that is 5HP with excellent low end torque... and is compliant with the NE Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. CO2 emissions are down but methane emissions are way up. Avoid the rear end.
