Hello, I cleaned out my Grandfathers Cottage, and came across this Wonderful Piece Of History.

( Universal, Built by..Cribben & Saxton Co. )

Its a Free Standing...Heater/Furnace...4500 btu's
Operate's on Nat-Gas 0r Propane Gas.
Automatic...120 Volt Forced Air Fan...Blower.
Works Awesome! ..Unbelievable Find!!

My Question is: Has anyone ever seen one of these?
I have Searched the web, had zero luck! The company went out of Business years ago.

I Installed it in my Garage, Plumb it to Nat-Gas.....Works Great!
It Operates like a water heater, lite the pilot, set the temp, heats up..Fan comes on...Blow's Decent Heat!
Everyone that see's it, is Over whelmed with its Simple Operation and Style.

I might be For-Sale...If the Price Was Right? Would be Great in a Museum.

I just would like to know the History of these Unit's. I feel its from the late '30's 0r '40's
Any Information would be Helpful.
Thank You!

It kind of reminds me of an old home trailer heater from the 50's. if it works good, use it. Its likely not super valuable but Im not going to guess an amount. Would be great for a well house or any small building. Im assuming you mean 45,000 BTU and not 4500.

Exactly W. An old trailer heater. Got oodles of them up this way still working. Looks like it was well maintained. Price & historic value??? We give them away up here for milk houses, etc.

Run it and enjoy the heat. Looks very similar to a Miller Trailer Furnace.

Well, it states...45000 input rating, and 4500 min. input. No Output rating?

Well, If you have " oodles " of them? Post Me a Pic. of one! I feel its a lonely survivor!
As for being out of a Vintage " Travel Trailer " That makes a lot of Sense...Thanks for that Information.

As for Value? ....That is something yet to be Discovered?
