I addition to heating with coal we have had propane for my shop building. Recently I tied into the natural gas line along our road. The meter bar is hung and I finished doing the black piping connections. I switched the furnace orifices and regulator spring from LP to NG.
So here is my question. When they hang the meter and turn on the NG the regulator needs to have the pressure set to 3.5 WC ( water column) inches. Short of having a HVAC tech come out is there a way I can use my manometer from my coal boiler?
Your help would be great!
Thanks!
Adjusting a Gas Furnace Regulator?
I don't know whether you could do it or not. My druthers is get a pro in with the correct equipment and pay them to set it properly. A boom with a coal appliance is one thing but a boom with NG is a real house leveler

Yes, as long as your manometer has the range it should work fine.
