I had a house with Mr. Ed insulation as well.

I may be aging myself here, but I can remember when #2 diesel was going for about 27-28 cents a gallon. Back then #2 heating oil must have been going for only about 25 cents per gallon.

I don't exactly remember because it was so long ago but I want to say that I filled my tank four times the last winter I actually used my furnace. So, 800? It was probably over 1000+ though; but the last time I paid for oil was in the winter of 2009/2010 and my memory is a bit fuzzy.
