Hello all. Just curious if any one looked thru the farmers almanac for the upcoming winter. In my travels I've seen bigger wood piles than normal. I'm not talking about a cord or two I mean whole grapple loads. I'm even seeing wood supplies in urban areas. I figure people aren't taking any chances after last winter and oil is going up daily again. I have three tons of coal on hand and hoping to have at least ten by September. Heating oil by me still somewhat reasonble $3.399/gal. Matt

Here HO is $4.00 and headed North daily. A few more weeks of the A team screwing things up and it will hit $5 so buy all you need and can afford. As for me I need a biocide (gluthathione) as my HO (the little that is left) is getting stale as it's about 7 years old. Love that coal and OK mother nature let's try that one again I'm readier than ever. HO has a dim future as far as I can see, it has curiosity value only. Strange new world.

I believe I read recently in one of the threads someone mentioned a long range forecast into the winter that looked rather cold but I am not sure what the source was.

Stock up this summer if you have the room and $$ to avoid the late February scramble like some experienced this past year!
I drive a VW TDI, heat my home & workshop with two coal stokers and have two vintage JD diesel tractors....
The EPA just loves me!!
