I disagree... totally.. Wood pellets don't have the BTU value that coal does so how can they say that you need 1 ton per 1000 Sq ft of wood pellets to heat your home, but need 2 tons per 1000 sq ft for coal... Geez... I use a pellet stove.. There is no way wood pellets even come close to the heat output that coal has :lol: :lol:

You can sit on a pellet stove and still have a cold butt...that lady has no clue what she is talking about. She also forgot to mention the weekly clean out jobs and quality problems of the pellets.

Obviously we're all doing it wrong if we are able to heat 1000 sq. ft. on 1 ton.

Right, but I was emphasizing the backasswards comparison of wood pellets to coal. :D I didn't even consider the comparison of square footage to fuel, I guess that's pretty gross too :lol:
