Are there any current/previous Dutchwest model 2461 owners out there? Do you have any imput on it's performace or lack-thereof!? It sounds like a pretty good stove from the person trying to sell it and the brochure. But I've hear some negative reviews from other sources. Some people say it has poor draft and puffs out when it's windy. Some say, the top of the fire box cracks after rigorous use. Is this a sign these people are overheating it? It seems like every stove, no matter the make or model can get bad reviews sometimes. I'm having a tough time figuring wich one is more beliavable. Some people swear by them. The convection Dutchwest is advertised to offer high efficiency from less wood, some of industrie's lowest smoke emissions. Accepting 22" logs, burning up to 9 hours, heating up to 1,600 sq. ft. with a max output of 40,000 BTU's/hr. It's said to do all this with an efficiency rating of 75.9%. If all these claims are true, how can I go wrong purchasing this stove?

Thanks for the reply. I found some really interesting/entertaining information from that source. The gent with all the problems, sounded like he had more issues than just his stove! Watched some cool videos on the everburn!! This guy really liked his particular Dutchwest. The one I'm looking into is a catalytic model 2461. Thank you again. Good info.
