Hand Fed Coal Stove: Martin stove and range no 8

Post by Azoffgrid » Sun. May. 14, 2023 1:12 am

I inherited my grandmothers, Martin stove and range company, Florence, Alabama, no8 stove. Unfortunately, it was missing the original Ashbox door and bell damper. I have a non-original door on it currently. I have been actively seeking a replacement door for more than a decade. As I plan to install the stove in my cabin, this summer, I am reaching out to new sources for help in replacing my door. Any advice or direction to sourcing parts would be much appreciated.

Which one of the coal stove shops have you contacted so far?

Please recommend some, I have been looking at antique shops and on eBay for years. I have only come across the stove one other time.
