I have a March-Brownback cook stove. It was a coal-burning stove with a Peet Globe oven, manufactured in Pottstown. It and was owned and used by my wife's grandmother. As far as I know, it was operational when it was removed from the house probably 30 years ago. It's been in storage (in my garage) ever since and I'm hoping to move it on. I'm trying to get some information first.
* Does anyone know anything about March-Brownback?
* Does anyone have an idea of what this might be worth?
* Is there a market for this type of stove?
* Where might I got to try and sell it?

I live in the Harrisburg, PA area. I've attached a few photos and have more if they would be useful.

Thanks in advance for any assistance .. Mark

It was started in 1848 by Mr. March and a partner. Changed names a couple times over the years. Out of business 1946-ish.
Google spring-ford historical society for the extra long version.

Made around 1920-ish or newer. Porcelain/enamel coatings started around then.

Sell on Facebook marketplace or Craigslist. Ask $500 to start. Then wiggle price till sold. Take good pictures of outsides and insides. Insides as in the oven walls and looking down from the cooking surface into the fire box area. Need to remove round looking plates to see into firebox.
Good many for sale right now, very similar. Your looks to be in nice shape.
